My name is LIANG, Yuchen (梁宇辰); you can call me Eric. As you might infer from my name, I am Chinese. I was born in Beijing in 2000 and spent the first 18 years of my life there. For the rest of my life, I have spent most of my time in Hong Kong, where I attended HKUST as a university student. I am currently a PhD student at HKUST ISD under the supervision of Prof. Rob SCHARFF. My research interest currently lies in Soft Robotics, artificial muscles, and tactile sensors. Other than academic life, I like outdoor activities, especially cycling.
