Welcome to my website!
My name is Yuchen LIANG (梁宇辰); you can call me Eric. As you might infer from my name, I am Chinese. I was born in Beijing in 2000 and spent the first 18 years of my life there. For the rest of my life, I have spent most of my time in Hong Kong, where I attended HKUST as a university student. I am currently a PhD student at HKUST ISD under the supervision of Prof. Rob SCHARFF in the HKUST ISD Soft Robotics Lab. My research interest currently lies in soft robotics, artificial muscles, and tactile sensors. Other than academic life, I like outdoor activities, especially cycling.
